Mariano Berges

Mariano Berges joined the company as COO in February. With over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, he has contributed to global projects totaling more than 20 GW across solar, wind, and battery storage. An Industrial Engineer with a Master’s in Renewable Energy and an AMP from IESE, he has held senior roles at companies such as INDRA, SOCOIN, FRV, and RPC. He is also a cofounder of several companies and has led innovative projects, including a 20 MW solar plant and the first Tesla battery project in the UK. Since joining, he has focused on strengthening operations and driving efficiency and sustainable growth.

Bernerd Da Santos

Bernerd Da Santos is Executive Vice President and President of U.S. & Renewables at AES, where he leads the company’s growth in clean energy and green hydrogen. He previously served as COO (2015–2023), playing a key role in transforming operations, scaling renewables, and driving digitalization and innovation across the business. With more than 20 years at AES, he has held multiple senior roles in operations and finance, contributing to global expansion and energy transition efforts. Originally from Venezuela, he holds degrees in business and an MBA, and has extensive international experience across the energy sector.

Jose Antonio Miranda

José Antonio Miranda Soto has served as CEO of Avangrid since June 2025, a leading U.S. energy company and part of the Iberdrola Group operating across more than 20 states. With over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, he has held several key leadership roles within the company since joining in 2021, driving growth in generation capacity and advancing major projects such as Vineyard Wind 1. Prior to Avangrid, he held senior executive positions at Siemens Gamesa and ABB, and has been actively involved in industry organizations.

Omar Aoun

Omar Aoun is a Senior Executive Vice President at Power Electronics, responsible for the growth and execution of the business in North America, in support of Power Electronics’ mission to accelerate the digitalization and decarbonization of our planet through the development and deployment of cutting edge, sustainable and economical solar and storage technologies. Omar has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, spent with General Electric, SunEdison, Samsung and Energy Vault, spanning various segments of power generation including conventional, renewable, and energy storage and diverse business types, having led busineses and teams at OEMs, and IPP and turnkey solution provider. Omar holds an MBA from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

Carla Arimont

Carla is an executive search and talent management leader with over 20 years of international experience advising clients across industries and geographies. With a strong multicultural background, she has built her career across Europe, Latin America, and the United States. She began her career at the United Nations Information Center in Washington, D.C., before joining Seeliger y Conde Amrop in Barcelona in 1998. In 2001, she moved to London to work with The Drax Group, a UK executive search firm specializing in financial markets. Carla later rejoined SYC Amrop in Madrid as a Consultant, advancing to Associate Partner and subsequently Equity Partner. In 2013, she relocated to Houston, Texas, to establish the firm’s local office, and in 2017 she founded Lincoln Leadership Advisors. Carla holds a joint BA in Diplomatic Studies from Georgetown University and International Affairs from George Washington University, as well as a degree in French Civilization and Literature from the Sorbonne University in Paris. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French. She also serves as a Board Member of EADA Business School and Vice President of the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Kevin Bonebrake

Kevin Bonebrake is the Chief Financial Officer of Quaise Energy. He leads a team that is developing and executing on all aspects of Quaise’s strategy as well as funding and commercializing its innovative millimeter wave drilling technology for power-dense, deep geothermal energy applications. Kevin started his professional career as a mechanical engineer researching industrial laser applications, then spent nearly twenty years advising energy companies on all aspects of strategy and financing as a senior investment banker at Morgan Stanley and Lazard. He believes that super-hot geothermal can provide the energy that will be needed to power the world’s rapidly growing economy through the end of this century and beyond.

Mark Clapp

30 Years Experience in Energy Projects focusing on Project Development, Commercial Management, Contract Negotiation, Process and Project Management, Risk Analysis, Safety and Environmental Management. Able to translate macro business concepts into targeted actions with measurable performance goals, resulting in solid and efficient legal, financial, commercial, contract and outcome based KPI performances.

Reed Clay

Reed Clay is the President of the Texas Nuclear Alliance, the only industry association in Texas dedicated exclusively to advancing nuclear technology and positioning Texas as the Nuclear Capital of the World. The organization focuses on education, public policy advocacy, and industry engagement to support the growth of nuclear energy in the state. Previously, Reed served as Chief Operating Officer of Texas under Governor Greg Abbott, working closely with state leadership on strategic policy initiatives. Following his government service, he founded Crestline Group, a successful government affairs consulting firm representing clients ranging from Fortune 50 companies to start-ups across multiple industries. He is also a founding partner of Clay Scott LLP, a Texas law firm focused on administrative and regulatory law.

Nuno Escaja Gonçalves

Nuno Escaja Gonçalves serves as Scale's Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Scale, Nuno most recently served as the CFO of EDP Renewables North America (“EDPR NA”)'s Distributed Generation division and sat on the Management Committee. There, he helped define the growth strategy of the company, oversaw the Finance department, actively participated in the analysis and approval of new investments, and provided support to the Capital Markets department. He also served as Interim CEO of EDPR NA DG for a period of four months and led the process of integrating the new division within the company after its acquisition from C2 Omega. Previously, Nuno had worked for nearly a decade as the Director of Financial Planning & Control for EDPR NA, where he prepared budgets and monthly reporting, controlled the financial execution of new utility-scale wind and solar projects, and provided financial estimates for the development, technical, and investment analysis teams. He also took on added responsibilities as the Director of Portfolio Management, managing relationships with EDPR NA tax equity and cash equity investors as well as project finance counterparties. Nuno’s career in energy began with the EDP Group in Portugal over two decades ago, as the Deputy Head of Finance responsible for the treasury of the Group and for the pension fund. He also worked in the capital markets team having participated in the issuance of over $10 billion in bonds, loans, and credit facilities.

George Y. Gonzalez

George Y. Gonzalez counsels U.S. and international businesses on corporate law matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, corporate structuring, and international transactions. He advises both public and private companies across a wide range of industries, including energy, oil and gas, infrastructure, healthcare, real estate, food and beverage, and technology. Throughout his career, Gonzalez has been recognized by organizations including Chambers, The Legal 500, and Latin Lawyer for his work in corporate and energy-related transactions, and is known for providing practical, business-oriented legal advice in complex domestic and international matters.

Ramsey Hamady

Ramsey Hamady has served as Chief Financial Officer of NuScale Power since 2023, overseeing financial strategy, risk management, and capital markets activities. With more than 25 years of experience, he has held leadership roles at both private and public companies, including Equify Financial and Western Magnesium Corporation, and previously worked at Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan in trading and corporate finance. Mr. Hamady holds a degree from Carnegie Mellon University and has also supported global microfinance and poverty alleviation initiatives.

Ian Levine

Ian Levine is Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Meridian Infrastructure, where he oversees financial strategy, M&A, treasury, risk management, and accounting. Before joining Meridian, Ian served as CFO & Strategy at Moda Midstream, leading corporate strategy, capital markets, investor relations, and acquisition financing initiatives that supported the company’s growth and expansion. Earlier in his career, he worked in the energy investment banking division at Deutsche Bank in both Houston and New York, specializing in energy transactions and debt capital markets. Ian holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.

Phil Lookadoo

Phil Lookadoo is a partner in the Energy Practice Group at Haynes Boone, specializing in energy transactions, regulatory compliance, commodity trading, renewables, project development, and mergers and acquisitions. With more than 30 years of experience, he advises clients on complex energy and infrastructure matters across oil, gas, power, battery storage, and carbon markets. He is also actively involved in industry leadership, currently chairing the Commodity Regulation Working Group of the International Energy Credit Association (IECA), and frequently speaks on energy regulation and trading issues.

Antonio Montero

Antonio Montero Pérez is Executive Director of Sustainability & Low Carbon Advisory at BBVA, where he supports clients in the transition to a low-carbon economy. He advises companies and institutions on integrating sustainability into their strategies and focuses on developing innovative financial solutions aligned with climate goals, such as sustainable financing and decarbonization plans. With extensive experience in finance and sustainability, he works closely with key sectors like energy and infrastructure, contributing to BBVA’s commitment to climate action and sustainable growth.

Josh Puckridge

15 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and operational leadership across the energy and critical minerals sectors. He currently serves as Vice President at Controlled Thermal Resources, where he leads corporate strategy for the company’s geothermal and direct lithium extraction projects in California, as well as its NASDAQ listing process. Throughout his career, he has held senior executive and board positions in multiple public companies across the energy, mining, and natural resources industries in Australia, Africa, Asia, and the United States.

Gonzalo Rodriguez

Chief Business Officer in the United States and a member of the team that founded Elawan Energy. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow and an MBA from ENAE Business School. He has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy—most of it at Elawan Energy—leading growth in the United States since 2009, from its beginnings as Gestamp Wind North America to its current integration into the Japanese ORIX group.

Bobby Tudor

Bobby Tudor is the founder and CEO of Artemis Energy Partners, an Investing and Advisory platform focused on companies involved in the Global Energy Markets. Mr. Tudor is also a Retired Founder and CEO of Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. TPH is a leading Energy Investment Bank formed in 2007 with over 100 employees in five offices in the US, and Canada. It is widely recognized for its industry leading position in Energy securities research and Energy investment banking advisory transactions. TPH merged with Perella Weinberg Partners in 2016. Prior to forming TPH, Mr. Tudor was a Partner at Goldman Sachs and a leader of its worldwide Energy practice. Over his 35-plus year career in Investment Banking, he has worked on many of the defining transactions of the period, across most energy subsectors and geographies. Mr. Tudor is currently the Chairman of the Houston Energy Transition Initiative, a consortium of Houston’s leading energy companies working to shape the region’s Energy Transition Strategy, and is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Greentown Labs, North America’s leading energy technology accelerator. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Murphy Oil Corporation; Puloli, Inc., an early-stage methane detection and measurement company, and Tankbots, Inc., an AI-driven industrial robotics platform. Mr. Tudor is the Past Chair of both the Greater Houston Partnership and the Rice University Board of Trustees. He serves on the Board of Advisors for Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy, the National Petroleum Council, the Jones School of Business at Rice, and the National Advisory Board for the Tulane Center for Energy Law. Mr. Tudor also serves on the Board of Directors of the Houston Symphony, Good Reason Houston, the MD Anderson Cancer Center Board of Visitors, and the Rice Management Company. Mr. Tudor holds a BA in English and Legal Studies from Rice University, and a JD from Tulane Law School.

Kyle Weller

Kyle oversees day-to-day operations for the San Antonio office, with a focus on building Turner’s presence in the Greater San Antonio market. Throughout his career with Turner, Kyle has held multiple positions, first in Kansas City, and in San Antonio since 2015. Most recently, Kyle served as Business Manager and, prior to that, he led the Special Projects Division overseeing a wide range of projects throughout San Antonio and Austin. He is involved in various organizations within the industry including Urban Land Institute, ACE Mentoring, Texas BioMed Founder’s Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Club, San Antonio Food Bank, Greater SATX (formerly SAEDF) and multiple Small Business Mentor/Protégé groups.

Alexandra Williams

Alexandra Williams is Vice President of Origination at Guidepost Energy, bringing a diverse and comprehensive background across origination and business development, renewable energy, trading, and real-time energy operations. With a strong focus on the ERCOT market and working knowledge of MISO and CAISO, she has developed deep expertise spanning day-ahead and term trading, 24/7 operations management, settlements, contract negotiation, and the management of both thermal and renewable generation assets. She possesses extensive knowledge of ERCOT compliance and NERC standards and is recognized for her ability to bridge wholesale and retail markets to develop innovative, results-driven strategies. A fast learner with a forward-looking mindset, Alexandra is committed to leveraging both new and established relationships to address evolving challenges in dynamic energy markets. She holds a B.S. in Political Science and a B.A. in History from the University of Houston, with additional academic focus in Mathematics and Economics, underpinning her strong financial and analytical capabilities.
