This September, SIAM participated in the Guild CPO Annual Meeting in Cleveland, Ohio, bringing us together with manufacturers and suppliers from across the coatings industry. As a longtime Supplier Member of Guild CPO, we were pleased to participate in the meeting and introduce more companies to Chemeter, our software for SDS authoring and chemical regulatory compliance.
Unlike a large trade show, Guild CPO offered a more focused environment to spend time with the companies and people that make up the organization. For SIAM, that meant conversations not only about Chemeter, but about how manufacturers are managing SDS authoring, product stewardship and regulatory compliance today, and the different approaches companies are taking to those challenges.
As we continue developing Chemeter in North America, experiences like Guild CPO are helping us become more focused about where we invest our time. The U.S. is an enormous market, and for a specialized company like SIAM, being part of the right industry communities and understanding the companies within them can be just as important as reaching a larger audience.
Our time in Cleveland reinforced why SIAM values its relationship with Guild CPO and its members. From Spain, we will continue building relationships within the U.S. coatings and chemical industries, listening to the companies we serve and looking for opportunities where our regulatory experience and technology can make a meaningful difference.
