IESE Business School Honored at The Case Centre Awards 2025

IESE Business School has been honored with two awards from the prestigious Case Centre Awards and Competitions 2025, reinforcing the institution’s excellence in case method teaching and writing.

The Case Centre Awards and Competitions recognizes outstanding case writers and teachers from business schools around the world. Now in their 35th year, the awards are designed to celebrate impactful contributions to business education.

Professor Gaizka Ormazabal, Associate Dean for Research at IESE Business School, received recognition in the Finance, Accounting, and Control category for his case study on integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics into compensation strategies. Additionally, former IESE collaborator Rob Johnson was honored in the Entrepreneurship category for his case on financing strategies for startups and early-stage tech companies.

These accolades reflect IESE’s commitment to the case method as a core teaching approach, encouraging participants to think critically and solve complex business challenges effectively. The awards also underscore the school’s dedication to helping leaders navigate complex sustainability and entrepreneurial challenges.

This recognition comes on the heels of IESE’s MBA program recently being ranked third globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2025, further demonstrating the school’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and shaping future business leaders.
