Position Summary

As a Spare Parts Manager, you will be responsible for leading a growing team of dedicated employees as well as the inventory and distribution of spare parts, ensuring the availability of essential components for our equipment. This role is crucial in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by providing timely and accurate parts support.

Responsabilities

  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of spare parts, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock.
  • Order Processing: Oversee the processing of spare parts orders, from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service to dealers and end-users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to spare parts.
  • Forecasting: Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the logistics of spare parts shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, shipments, and supplier agreements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and improve service quality.
  • Team Development: Lead, mentor and manage a growing team of employees fostering a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication.

  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of inventory management software and tools, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions

Qualifications/Education

  • Experience: Proven experience in spare parts management, inventory control, or a related field, preferably in the heavy equipment or automotive industry.
  • Customer Focus: Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing demands and work in a dynamic environment.
