Ambassador Hector Gomez
Héctor Gómez Hernández is the Permanent Representative of Spain to the United Nations. Prior to this appointment, he was a member of the Spanish Parliament for Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where he was re-elected in July 2023. He served as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Tourism from March to November 2023 and as Spokesman for the Socialist Parliamentary Group in 2021. From 2018 to 2019, he was Director General of Turespaña.
Ambassador Maurizio Massari
Ambassador Maurizio Massari is the Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in New York, with over 40 years of diplomatic experience. He is Vice-President of the 79th UN General Assembly and a member of the Advisory Group of the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF). He has also served as Vice-President of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and the Executive Board of UN Women. Previously, he was Italy's Permanent Representative to the EU (2016-2021) and Special Envoy for the Mediterranean and the Middle East (2012-2013).
Ambassador Evangelos C. Sekeris
Evangelos C. Sekeris is the Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations. Prior to this appointment, he served as Greece’s Deputy Permanent Representative to NATO from 2019 to 2022. Mr. Sekeris has held several key positions, including Director of the A5 Directorate at Greece’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Consul-General in Istanbul, and Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Cabinet of the Greek Minister for Foreign Affairs. He also served as Political Counsellor at Greece's Permanent Representation to the EU.
Deborah Baron
Deborah Baron is the Head of the Global Families Group, leading a team of advisors who serve U.S.-based families abroad and international families with business and personal interests in the U.S. She specializes in managing complex, multi-jurisdictional families and supports clients seeking a distinct value proposition through U.S. products, booking and services. Previously, Baron led the U.S. Client Service and Experience team for the U.S. Private Bank, and also held roles as a product manager at Bloomberg L.P. and as Chief of Staff to the CEO of J.P. Morgan's Asset & Wealth Management division.
