October 7, 2024 – Trench Rossi Watanabe advised Viscofan on the acquisition of 60% of the capital of Brasfibra Indústria e Comércio de Derivados do Couro and Master Couros Indústria e Comércio de Derivados do Couro.
Located in São Sebastião do Paraíso (MG), Brasfibra and Master Couros are family businesses specializing in the production of collagen and the treatment of bovine hides, respectively. With this acquisition, Viscofan, a Spanish manufacturer of casings for meat products with a presence in more than 100 countries, is expanding its operations in the Brazilian market.
