Lincoln Leadership Foundation Celebrates Graduation of Inaugural 2026 Cohort

15 professionals complete LLF’s inaugural development program, advancing the Foundation’s mission of elevating employability.

HOUSTON, Texas (June 22, 2026) — The Lincoln Leadership Foundation (LLF) proudly celebrated the graduation of its Inaugural Cohort on June 20, marking an important milestone in its mission to connect individuals with special abilities* to meaningful employment opportunities.

The Lincoln Leadership Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing employability, leadership development, and workforce inclusion for individuals with special abilities. Through training, coaching, mentorship, and employer partnerships, the Foundation creates pathways to employment while helping organizations access an often-overlooked pool of exceptional talent.

The inaugural cohort brought together 15 talented professionals with experience across a broad range of disciplines, including information technology, finance, logistics, human resources, project management, and other high-demand fields. Through four in-person workshops, participants developed greater self-awareness, strengthened their communication and relationship-building skills, and enhanced their overall career readiness.

“The graduation of our first cohort is far more than the completion of a training program,” said Carla Arimont, Founder and Chairman of the Lincoln Leadership Foundation. “It is a celebration of resilience, determination, and potential. These professionals have demonstrated that talent, commitment, and perseverance can create tremendous value for employers. We are honored to support them as they pursue meaningful careers and contribute their skills, experience, and unique perspectives to the workforce.”

A defining principle of the Foundation is simple: we do not lower the bar—we expand access to opportunity. Through leadership development, employability training, mentoring, and employer engagement, LLF helps talented individuals with special abilities* prepare for, access, and succeed in meaningful careers. Several cohort members have already secured employment with leading organizations, while others are actively engaged in the placement process with employers across the Greater Houston region.

Founded in 2025 and launched by Lincoln Leadership Advisors, the Lincoln Leadership Foundation was created to help address employment barriers facing individuals with disabilities by building bridges between qualified professionals and inclusive employers. The Foundation believes that ability, potential, and determination should define opportunity.

Following the success of its inaugural cohort, LLF plans to expand future programs, strengthen employer partnerships, and continue advancing its mission of creating a more inclusive workforce where talent is recognized, opportunity is accessible, and every individual has the chance to thrive.

“Special abilities” refers to individuals with disabilities as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
